You gain strength, courage and confidence
by every experience in which you really stop to look
fear in the face…You must do the thing you think
you cannot do. Eleanor Roosevelt |

When you come to the edge of all the light
you know and are about to step off into the darkness
of the unknown, faith is knowing that one of two things
will happen: there will be something solid to stand
on, or you will be taught how to fly. Patrick

I
get up. I walk. I fall down. Meanwhile, I keep dancing.

Your
pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your
understanding. Even as the stone of the fruit must break
that its heart may stand in the sun, so must you know
pain. And could you keep your heart in wonder at the
daily miracles of your life, your pain would not seem
less wondrous than your joy. And you would accept the
seasons of your heart, even as you have always accepted
the seasons that pass over your fields. And you would
watch with serenity through the winters of your grief.
Kahlil Gibran

if there were no dark valleys to traverse.
